How I Made Time to Execute on Ty’s 35

I’ve been told that Ty’s 35 seems a little overwhelming, especially since so many of my deliverables would occur close to or on closing day. When I first started Ty’s 35 I was all over the place; running around to wrap a door, pick up move-in day supplies, get keys made…it was exhausting! It took me about a year to figure out how to make the most of my time.

I had to really look at my schedule and then think about my goals. Where did I have time and what could I accomplish? Using time-saving methods like online ordering and grouping errands was a tremendous help.

HOW I MANAGED MY TIME

  • Ordered my move in supplies in bulk and online so I didn’t have to physically go to the store.
  • Left a lockbox at the house, the locksmith rekeyed the house on his time and left the keys in my lockbox. I didn’t need to meet the locksmith.
  • Took a photo when I met with my clients for the home inspection. I didn’t wait until closing day to take a photo of my client.

I made Ty’s 35 happen because I had a big “why?” Why was I prioritizing these items? Why was I bending over backward to provide the best value for my clients? Because I wanted to sell a lot of real estate! I always have my eye on the prize. It’s so important to stay focused on my goals.

DETERMINE YOUR WHY

  1. What is your goal?
  2. What drives you to achieve that goal?
  3. What are you willing to do to achieve those goals?

I made a process for my deliverables so I could be consistent. I had to execute and so do you.

The real secret to making time for Ty’s 35?

You just have to do it.

I grew my business strictly by referrals. I had a system in place called Ty’s 35, designed to wow every single client I had. I’m going to share my system with you, week by week, so you too can start working by referral. No more door knocking, no more cold calling, no billboards, and no advertising.
